W Opolu poza wielką dziurą w ziemi jest też wielka góra zwana górką śmierci, z której w jedną stronę jest widok na pętlę autobusową i infrastrukturę rekreacyjną - m.in. miasteczko rowerowe i psi plac zabaw, a z drugiej strony na okna mieszkań na 8 piętrze okolicznych bloków.

16 june 2018 - Opole, Ozimska Street. Due to works on expansion of Solaris Center Copernicus Square is closed for all traffic. Bus lines 3, 8, 10, 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, 21, N1, N2, N5, N13 and N15 have to take rather lengthy detour via Kośnego, Katowicka and Ozimska Streets. Together with lines that go via Ozimska regularly (i.e. 10, 14, 15, 25) they form an impressive batch of 24 buses one way in rush hour. All that despite summer timetable! Detour should end in the last week of August.

In the picture an typical example: after crossing Solidarity Av. bikeway has no continuation whatsoever. In fact in parts of the west side of Witosa Av. there is no sidewalk at all!

Od nowego roku pojawiła się taka możliwość, gdyż MZK zaczęło obsługiwać siłą zabrany Winów (za moimi plecami). W tle kilka co wyższych ciekawych obiektów, licząc od lewej: Elektrownia, która od pół roku znajduje się w granicach Opola, w prostej linii to jakieś 13 km; kośćiół w Szczepanowicach; komin Elektrociepłowni; Katedra; Wieża Piastowska; Wieża Ratusza i Kościół Franciszkanów.

20 october 2016 - Opole, skrzyżowanie ulic Wojska Polskiego i Niemodlińskiej.Przeguby w Opolu obsługują dzisiaj 7 linii szczytowych i 4 całodzienne. Przy najbliższej wymianie taboru planowany jest zakup 15 nowych przegubowców. Myślę, że nieracjonalnym byłoby, żeby większość z nówek jeździła 5 dni w tygodniu na dodatkach, dlatego też z pewnością zajdą zmiany z rozkładzie i przeguby będą bardziej widoczne w krajobrazie Opola.

Spowodowane jest to zmianą organizacji ruchu, w związku z budową ronda 750m dalej (patrząc wgłąb zdjęcia). Oczywiście rozkład można wyrzucić. Na tym odcinku ul. Prószkowska jest jednokierunkowa.

W zeszłym tygodniu po ponad 30 latach od rozpoczęcia (kwiecień 83 chyba) MZK Opole wycofało z liniowej służby ten wóz, prawdopodobnie najstarszy liniowy autobus w Polsce. Stan techniczny nie pozwala już na jego dalszą pracę. Dobra informacja jest jednak taka, że nie pójdzie on wcale na złom, ale będzie czekał na remont i będzie zabytkiem. :) Tymczasem #421 jeździ ale ledwo dycha, #410 też ostatnio stał, jednak już jeździ i nawet zrobili mu poprawki malarskie. Kończą sie nam Ikary...

Zapowiedzi nagrane ładnie, a z 15 na al. „Solidarności” głównie w tym dniu wysiadano, niż wsiadano. Liczymy na ciepłe przyjęcie nowej linii na tej ulicy :)

Od jutra, odcinek między ulicą Pużaka, a aleją Witosa "piętnastka" pokona nowowybudowaną Aleją Solidarności. A kilka słów o historii tej linii przeczytać można tutaj :)
